I was eating a fixed price menu with a group as a vegan, and the wait staff was super accommodating, even more than they needed to be. Plus the food was fabulous.

Go-to place for heart and delicious Mexican food. The wait can be long so call in ahead. Great mezcal drinks.

This is one of my favorite spots for Authentic Spanish cuisine. Call ahead to get on their waiting list to get a table since they don't take a reservation. This place gets busy FAST!

The food we tried was delicious but quite pricey for the portions we got. I was a little confused when I got my main dish because I couldn’t quite see all the ingredients that were listed on the menu, I thought I might have received something different than I had ordered, I still liked it though so I assumed those “invisible “ ingredients must have been blended in the sauce rather then missing. Who knows...

I generally don't like Mexican food at all, but I loved it here! They have different entrees, softer and more flavorful (although on the smaller side). Plus the ambience is really nice. And good price for SF standards.

Nopalito fish tacos are good but needed a savory element to make them excellent. Nopalito provided pickled vegetables to pull that off but they were to spicy for me to eat. The menu was obscure in places.

Nopalito is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants we’ve tried in San Francisco. We came at 11:30am and it was full house by noon. Come early if you want to secure a table as they don’t take reservations. Service is good, however even though we were the first ones to arrive and the restaurant was empty, they refused to let us sit at the window table for no reason. We went ahead and sat down where we wanted anyway.

this little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant was AWESOME. I love little tiny hard to find places like this. great experience for out of townees!

Outstanding service and amazing food! We called ahead with a group of nine... Everything was cool until we showed up and said we cancelled our res via text message (?). Yes, we had to wait because it was a Friday but everyone went out if their way to make sure we got in and had a great meal. They comped us some appetizers and were incredibly NICE! Being from Portland, I'm used to precious, presumptuous, and/or pompous servers. Every employee at Nopalito was gracious, warm, and welcoming. If I'm ever in SF, I'm eating here. No question about it.
