Decent airport. Cabbies will try to cheat you. Use Ola and Uber here. They will also charge the parking fee even though you have not parked your car or Ola or Uber.
Airport is out of the city and mobile network coverage is poor. You should book your Ola or Uber taxi before you reach this airport. Local auto and taxi do not charge by meter and are costly.
A really well maintained airport. The airport is located in the corner of the city and is not too far from the commercial area. You're not allowed to stay at the entrance for dropping guests for obvious security reasons. A pretty small airport and hence you can avoid long walks. The airport runs on 50 percent renewable energy which is a pretty good thing.
Good airport with all the necessary amenities and for a city like bhopal.... Its great...
One more thing which very few people know, that this airport runs 50% electricity needs via Solar power... And is planned to be 100% Solar Powered.
