On my way back to the east this winter and knowing about this bakery from my profession, I just had to visit. I'd be willing to miss a flight just for the Bread pudding ! The Best I' ever had and funny too cause I have a similar recipe and could tell by just looking at theirs , it was good! Outstanding is more like it. I bought 50$ plus of goods (for one person) and took some back to my airport hotel. Left my banana cream pie in the hotel fridge and hotel was kind enough to find it in the fridge and drop it back to me via their hotel shuttle ! Yum! Thanks Westin ( Oakland) and thanks Tartine.

Got a sweet tooth? The morning buns are out of this world and with a fresh cup of "joe" it's the perfect morning. Everything I've had from there has been great. Only got 4 out of five stars because there is hardly ever that you wont find a line out the door. It's worth it but be ready for a bit of a wait.

Amazing bread!!!! We showed up at 4 to get bread fresh out of the oven. Waited in line and it was totally worth it. Tartine is pretty famous! They have published beautiful books that you can find on Amazon and in stores like Homesense. Their sourdough is legendary!
