Suicide Cliff This 820-foot-tall (250 m) cliff is where much of the fighting took place during the Battle of Saipan in World War II, and a peace memorial pays tribute to the Japanese and American soldiers and citizens who died here.

Last Command Post Park This fortress under a rock slab, north of marpi, below Suicide Cliff, is where the Japanese military command held out to the very end.

Bird Island Bird Island is located in northeastern part of Saipan. Bird Island is very beautiful and a lot of birds live there.
