National Mall Part of the iconic image of Washington, the reflecting pool hosts many of the 24 million visitors a year who visit the National Mall. It is lined by walking paths and shade trees on both sides.

Union Station Union Station is a major transportation hub serving as a train station, bus terminal, and metro station. It is also a popular tourist destination, featuring a beautiful Beaux-Arts style building with shops, restaurants, and a food court.
