MAURIZIO STORE - ISCHIA PONTE Ischia Ponte is a town with a fascinating history. It is known especially for the Aragon’s Castle, in the past used as defence against the pirates or vacation castle for the royal in periods of peace. Today it is a main landmark of Ischia, where tourists love to pass by and take pictures with the sea in the background.

Castello Aragonese The Aragonese Castle is a medieval castle in Ischia Ponte. It stands on a volcanic isle and is connected to Ischia by a bridge. In the past it was used for defence, but today it is a marvellous place where you can stroll on the bridge, enjoying the sunshine and the breeze from the sea.

Aragona Arabians Horses Club Barano is a lovely town of Ischia and it is located on the higher part of the island, going towards mount Epomeo. The area is covered in vineyards, and is considered a very fertile territory of the island.

Monte Epomeo Mount Epomeo is the highest mountain of Ischia. It is primarily made of volcanic stone, for this reason considered very fertile. In fact the mountain is covered in greenery and vineyards. From here you can admire a fabulous view of the Bay of Naples, Mount Vesuvius and Capri.

Belvedere di Serrara Serrara Fontana is the highest and smallest town in Ischia. It is a quiet little town surrounded by trees and greenery. From here starts a path to go up the Mount Epomeo, where you see a magnificent view of the bay of Naples and the island of Capri.

Forio Forio is an adorable town by the sea and one of the popular nighttime areas of the island. It is full of shops, boutiques, cafés and restaurant, a perfect place to enjoy and relax, taking in the beautiful sight of the sea and the church of Soccorso, overlooking it. It is also home to the Torrione Museum, a watchtower built to lookout to pirates and attackers; and the beach of Citara, one of the most exclusive beaches of the island.

Chiesa del Soccorso Overlooking the sea rises the church of Soccorso and the tower of Torrione, two of the main staples of the small town of Forio. The church is a beautiful white building from where you can see an incredible view of the Mediterranean Sea.

Museo Civico del Torrione The tower of Torrione, used to be used to lookout to pirates and attackers, today it houses a beautiful museum of the history and culture of the island.

Fungo Di Lacco Ameno Lacco Ameno is a small town at the feet of Mount Epomeo, facing the sea. The name Lacco derives from the greek “lakkos” that means stone, Ameno instead is a name added afterwards. A famous landmark of this town is the "Fungo" a mushroom-shaped rock in the sea, sculpted by the wind and the waves.

Marina Di Casamicciola Srl Unipersonale Casamicciola Terme is a town especially known for its thermal baths, as you can see from the name. Ischia is in general known for its natural hot springs, but Casamicciola is the centre of this rejuvenating opportunity.
