Itinerary
1
Rome Meet your tour leader and small group in central Rome and hop aboard a private, air-conditioned minibus—the most comfortable way to navigate the jaw-dropping drive that awaits us.

Duration:  3.5 hours

2
Pompeii Archaeological Park Wander the fully preserved streets of Pompeii on a guided tour. This thriving port town was frozen in time when it was engulfed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. View the death casts of people caught in the eruption and peek into shops, temples, public baths, and maybe even a brothel (if suitable for the group).

Duration:  2.5 hours

3
Amalfi Coast After Pompeii, it’s back onto the minibus for one of the most unforgettable drives of your life down the hairpin turns and panoramic vistas of the Amalfi coast. It won’t take long for you to see why this is considered Italy’s most scenic drive (although certainly not the easiest to navigate—you’ll be glad you have a professional driver!).

Duration:  60 minutes

4
Positano Following in the footsteps of literary greats like Shelley, Goethe and Steinbeck, you’ll be free to explore this little town on foot, sampling its incredible seafood, browsing the fashionable boutiques, or ordering bespoke, handmade sandals.

Duration:  2.25 hours

5
Rome After a full day of exploring two of southern Italy’s greatest gems, you’ll head back onto the bus for a comfortable journey back to Rome.

Duration:  3.5 hours
