Vatican Museums
Your private driver will lead you to the Vatican Museums, where you will meet your guide and, thanks to our skip-the-line ticket, you will miss the infamous museum queues that snake around the walls of Vatican City.
The Vatican Museums are considered among the most beautiful museum complexes in the world. Equipped with one of the most beautiful art collections on the planet, they are rich invaluable works of Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Etruscan antiquity and they house a valuable collection of paintings, ranging from the twelfth to the nineteenth century, with works by Raphael, Caravaggio and Leonardo da Vinci. The Museums also include some beautifully frescoed rooms: Raphael's Rooms, four rooms decorated by Raphael and used by Pope Julius II as a residence; the art gallery containing paintings by Giotto, Leonardo, Caravaggio and Bellini; sculptures of classical art and masterpieces by Bernini; tapestries and mosaics; the famous Sistine Chapel (from the name of its founder, Pope Sixtus IV) that the extraordinary genius of Michelangelo made one of the most famous artistic treasures in the world, being visited every day by 20,000 visitors. The tour will continue with a visit to St. Peter's Basilica through access from a hidden door reserved only for participants of organized tours. In it, you can admire Michelangelo's "Pietà" and many other works, such as the famous Bernini's canopy, remaining completely fascinated. At the end of the tour, thanks to the genius of Bernini, you will be able to enjoy the magnificent view offered by the colonnade of Piazza San Pietro: positioning yourself, in fact, on the porphyry discs present on the square, you see all the columns perfectly aligned one behind the other as if, by magic, they had moved.
NOTE: on Wednesday morning, due to the papal audience, the Basilica could be closed. In this case, the explanation will be made from the outside.

Colosseum
After lunch, your private driver will take you to the Colosseum.
Known as Flavian Amphitheatre, the Colosseum is one of the capital's most remarkable monument. It is an imposing construction that, with almost 2,000 years of history, will bring you back in time to discover the way of life in the Roman Empire. During that period, the Colosseum allowed more than 50,000 people to enjoy its finest spectacles. The exhibitions of exotic animals, execution of prisoners, recreations of battles and gladiator fights kept Roman people entertained for years.

Roman Forum
After the Colosseum, you will visit an impressive sprawl of ruins, the Roman Forum. It was ancient Rome's showpiece centre, a grandiose district of temples, basilicas and vibrant public spaces. The site, originally a marshy burial ground, was first developed in the 7th century BC, growing over time to become the social, political and commercial hub of the Roman empire. Signature sights include the Arch of Septimius Severus, the Curia, the Temple of Saturn and the Arch of Titus.

Palatine Hill
Located 40 meters above the Roman Forum, the Palatine Hill is the most central of seven hills of Rome. In the Palatine Hill, you can see hundreds of ruins of the imposing buildings that were created for high Roman society in ancient. For a fresh perspective on Rome and its history, there’s no better place than the Palatine!

• The order of the visited sites could be reversed due to the availability of tickets, especially for tours booked very close to the date of the experience
• Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
• Please, communicate if there are disabled people partecipating the tour Please note that the route from the Sistine Chapel to St. Peter's Basilica has 50 steps down and is not wheelchair accessible. The tour can only continue to the Basilica if all members of your private group can go down the stairs, but for safety reasons, wheelchairs and walkers cannot be brought down the stairs. If your private group includes participants with reduced mobility, we can still accompany you to the Basilica, returning to the Museum entrance and walking to it from outside. Although there is a dedicated wheelchair route, keep in mind that there may be a line to enter the Basilica. Also, keep in mind that other participants in your group will have to take responsibility for pushing the wheelchair. The latter option has an extra €50.00 fee for the extra guide service to be paid directly to the guide on the day of the visit. This option is not recommended unless the embarkation time is late in the evening
