Koppenplatz Here you can find a memorial for the victims of deportation and the Holocaust, designed in GDR times and in harsh contrast to the more well known memorial close to Brandenburg Gate.

Memorial of the Berlin Wall There are three spots, where the Wall is "still alive" - this is the only part, where you can really understand and expirience what the Wall meant and did to Berlin. Edutainment at it's best.

Mauerpark Today commonly known for it's Sunday's flea market, this place shows how the city, tortured by the Wall for 28 years, turned into an oasis of free expression.

Gunter Litfin Memorial This original watchtower got preserved to remember Günter Litfin, the first person who got shot at The Wall.

Invalidenfriedhof Cut in the middle by The Wall, this burial place was made for prussian heroes of German military history. It focuses on escape stories, since it is close to multiple former Checkpoints and a canal which was a natural border for east and west Berlin.

Spreebogenpark From here you have the perfect overview over the governing distrcit of Germany with all it has to offer. Not only what you see is interesting though, but here we also discuss the plans of Hitler's architect Albert Speer and his vision to build the Great Hall, which would have had enough room to fit 180.000 people.

Checkpoint Charlie **Only in the english Version of the tour.** The most famous border station of the cold war, since it was the only shared one between the USA and USSR. Because of that, there was a point in time when the third world war almost started right here in the heart of Berlin.
