Library of Congress Experience a guided tour of one of the most beautiful buildings in Washington, DC as you view the main reading room, a portion of Thomas Jefferson's original library, and the Great Hall. Learn about the library's history and current operations, and how you can access the resources within its collection.

•  Closest Metro stop: Capitol South (Orange/Blue/Silver Lines) - Exit station using main exit, walk approximately two blocks north on First Street SE.
•  The US Capitol and its surrounding complex are in a secure federal operation area and nearby parking is highly restricted. The nearest public parking is located at Union Station approximately .5 mile from meeting location. Alternative modes of transportation are highly encouraged.
