The High Line
Discover and walk a segment of the renowned High Line a 1.45-mile-long elevated linear park, greenway and rail trail created on a former New York Central Railroad locate on the west side of Manhattan. Stretching 1.45 miles through the Meatpacking District and Chelsea along the west side of Manhattan, the High Line is one of New York’s newest—and most innovative—green spaces. The park is built along a now-defunct elevated railway; the original tracks are still visible along the path.
