National Museum 09:30 - 11:00: Meet and Visit the National Museum of Myanmar. Meet at the National Museum of Myanmar (Closed on Mondays and national holidays). It is a five-story building containing an extensive collection of ancient artifacts, ornaments, and works of art. Home to an incredible collection detailing the history and culture of Burmese people, the museum entices history buffs and art lovers alike. Note: If this site is closed, we will skip it and start the tour from the Sule Pagoda.

Yangon (Rangoon) 11:00 - 11:20: Transport to next place by taking a public bus. Head to Bus Station and take a pulic bus to Sule Bus Station. Approx. 20-minute riding. Experience local transportation and immerse yourself in the daily life of Yangon. You are welcome to interact with local people to know more lively stories about this city. 11:20 - 11:30: Walk through the overpass. Get off the bus and walk through the overpass. You can overlook the vibrant and bustle streets. Take some photos from four directions on the bridge is highly recommended.

Sule Pagoda 11:30 - 11:50: Visit Sule Pagoda. Sule Pagoda is located in the heart of Yangon and surrounded by busy streets, interesting markets, and colonial buildings. It is much smaller than the Shwedagon Pagoda, but it is also one of the most important monuments to the Burmese people, not only because of its religious significance but also for its historical and political importance. Spiritually significant and said to enshrine a hair of the Buddha, Sule Pagoda is often used by local people as a place of meditation and reflection.

11:50 - 12:30: Head to the Mahabandoola Garden and the Strand Road. On the way, you will stroll around streets with the tour guide. You will see many of the buildings are on the Yangon City Heritage List, a list of 188 man-made structures mainly consisting of religious landmarks and colonial-era buildings. Highlights include City Hall, Independence Monument, Immanuel Baptist Church, High Court, Strand Hotel and Customs House, etc. You will receive vivid behind stories about these abandoned colonial-era administrative buildings from your tour guide. 12:30 - 13:30: A Lunch Break. We will have a break at a cafe for a cup of traditional Myanmar-style milk tea or coffee, which is complimentary. A favorite tea house with the locals, busy from morning until night. If you are feeling hungry, the tour guide can recommend you some restaurants nearby. (Optional).

Strand Road 13:30 - 14:10: Continue our trip to the Former Minister's Office. The Former Minister's Office was the seat of the secretariat of the Anglo-Burmese Government (British Colonial Government). It is where the Former General Aung San was assassinated. At this site, you will be guided and introduced by an exclusive internal staff. But some parts of building is reparing now. Fully open to public soon.

St. Mary's Cathedral 14:10 - 14:40: Visit the Saint Mary's Cathedral. Saint Mary's Cathedral is an old colonia building which was built in 1895. The church is neo-gothic building. And it is also the largest Catholic church in Yangon. But the difference is, when you go inside, the soaring arcades and colorful decorations in the interior combine a variety of southeast Asian elements. The surrounding area of the church is the central area during British colonia era. It is worth taking your time.

Yangon Central Railway Station 14:40 - 14:50: Tour comes to an end. We will end this tour at Yangon Central Station, where you can take the Yangon Circular Railway if you want to explore the urban or outskirts city by yourself. Don't hesitate to ask the tour guide to help you with ticket. Costing only 10 cents to a dollar, a circular railway trip is one of the best-value investments available in Yangon. Tickets for the train allow you to get on and off trains multiple times, which is convenient, as many stops have tea shops and markets worth wandering through.
