The Douro Valley After meeting with your tour guide, leave from Porto in a comfortable climatized vehicle and prepare for wonderfull day at the beautifull Douro Valley!

Lamego Having arrived to the Douro Valley and with a quick pass by the centuries old city of Lamego, we will be visiting a small family owned vineyard. Here we will have a commented wine tasting on a variety of their wines and also enjoy some wonderfull views of the terraced hills that make the Douro Valley such an unique place.

Douro River After the visit to the first winery, enjoy a scenic drive through the world famous National Road 222, to the heart of the Douro Valley!

Folgosa It´s time to visit one of the most prestigious wineries of the region, where we will tour ther enturies old estate and try a selection of their world famous Ports. Enjoy their wines, the views and the great ambiance that the place provides!

Pinhao It´s time to go for lunch now, and as we head up the hills, passing to the quaint town of Pinhão, we will have the opportunity to have some fantastic views from up the mountains, to observe the expanse of the Douro Valley Region, a true "Geological Poem"

Sabrosa Having arrived in Sabrosa we will stop at another family owned winery, where we will have a traditional portuguese lunch complete with 4 courses, entrance, salad, main dish and dessert, all paired with their delicious Douro red and white wine. For the grande finale we will visit their cellar where we will try some of their fantastic ports. After a full day of exploration and discovery, relax and enjoy your journey back to Porto!

• Pick ups will be between 8:30 - 9:00 am. We will contact customers by message, with final details the day before the tour;

• This tour has two different options, with or without hotel pick up. If you choose the option with the meeting point this tour may or may not be done in a minibus or bus. If you choose the Small Group with hotel pick up option, this tour will be done on a minivan and a group of up to 8 people;

• This tour may be done in two languages. We try to avoid it, but sometimes we have no other solution.

• For lunch we provide meat, fish and vegan option. (We can also accomodate any dietary restriction with prior notification)

• Private option it's done in a private vehicle only with your private guide. The vineyards and rest of the locations are shared with other participants.

• For the ones that choose hotel pick-up, if your accomodation is not in a very easy to reach location, we might ask you to meet us at a close by location;

• This tour last around 9 hours, but it´s subject to local traffic conditions or visit schedules;

• Don´t forget to bring your camera with you!

• There is not much walking involved, but please bring comfortable shoes;

• We do tours all year round, in the winter it is cold and in the summer it's hot, please dress appropriately

• Reschedulings with less than 24 hours before the start of the tour will be charged a 30% fee (subject to availability);

• The order of the tour or partners visit are subject to change depending on availability;
