Ica is a region south of Lima on the coast of Peru. It's home to the Nazca Lines, pre-Columbian petroglyphs etched into desert sands. Spread over 1,000 sq. kilometers, there are about 300 different figures, including animals and plants. With some lines measuring 30 meters wide and stretching more than 9 kilometers, the figures are best viewed from the air.
