The village of Imerovigli, also known as “The balcony to the Aegean”, with whitewashed houses built on the highest point of the caldera cliffs. Its houses are built amphitheatrically around the caldera and it is crossed by narrow, paved paths. The terraces of its sleek bars, fine-dining restaurants, and upscale boutique hotels, some in caves, are popular sunset viewing spots.
