Lampang is a mountainous province in northern Thailand, east of Chiang Mai. It's an important center for ceramics and is known for Buddhist temples built during the Lanna era, which dates back to the 13th century. The province's capital, also called Lampang, features horse-drawn carriages. In the city center, Ban Sao Nak, a traditional teak house supported by pillars, is now a museum with antiques and gardens.
