Downtown Aquarium

Downtown Aquarium is a public aquarium and restaurant located in Houston.It houses over 200 species of aquatic animals in 500,000 US gallons of aquariums. The complex includes two restaurants, a bar, and banquet facilities.



The Aquarium Adventure Exhibit in the main building consists of 5 main themed areas, plus the tiger habitat and interactive displays.



Other facilities on the aquarium property include two restaurants, a bar, and banquet facilities in the main building; and the Diving Bell Ferris Wheel and an aquatic-themed carousel outside.

Really enjoyed the experience. Went along with my family and had a very good time. I recommend going in the morning for fewer crowds. The tiger exhibit is truly amazing.

Good experience for my daughter and god son. In this technology age it kept them off their phones and actually talking to us (their parents). Great value for the price and overall enjoyable. Great staff, everyone was pleasant and eager to assist.

Such a nice little aquarium! Definitely worth $12. They have a large variety of fish & critters. Plus the white tiger exhibit was beautifully kept and the Tigers seemed very happy to be there. They have 4 white tigers total. The staff was friendly and informative.

Aquarium was really fun. They had a lot of exhibits and I thought it was fun for any age. A little random (white tiger-super beautiful, tarantula, crocodiles) but the variety was good. Great prices. We went in the evening (it's November) and hardly anyone was there. Great things for kids to do. Definitely worth the money to get the all day pass. The sting ray exhibit was way cooler than I thought it would be. Sting rays are so sweet and friendly. Worth the time to go if you're thinking about it!
