I'm a regular customer of Fran's Restaurant just around the corner but decided to make a change one Sunday morning and went to The Senator restaurant instead. I went here based on good reviews that I read and decided to give it a try. The restaurant itself is small but the tables are neatly and well-placed. I ordered Steak and Eggs, with coffee as drinks. Well, I would say I was very disappointed starting with the coffee - I was served coffee but without any cream at all being offered. I didn't complain and didn't even bothered ask for one (tried drinking black coffee once in a while). One thing I noticed right away when my order came was the toast - - it's burned! The egg yolks of the sunny side up eggs are cooked! Yolks of sunny side up eggs should be runny and should flow! I ordered medium well steak BUT it's 50% red inside (well, you're right - they served me medium rare). No need to mention about the server but the cashier was nice and paying was quick and easy. Mistakes happened on their side, and on my side as well but never again. Anyway, lessons learned. I will give it a 3-star anyway.
