Lack of service. First time I went, server was quite pleasant, although occupied with a bigger group, I was a bit left behind. I had to flag someone down for cutlery after my main course was dropped off - which was delicious. Second visit, host remembered my face which was very nice. Server offered to clear my entree halfway through eating it (??). She never came by for the rest of the night. Main was dropped off without cutlery. Again. Some time went by, the gentleman at the front door came to top my wine up (carafe) so I took the opportunity to ask for cutlery. He was very apologetic. Finished my wine after dinner, would have liked to order more but no one noticed my glass was empty. Would have liked to order desert, but no one came by after I got my cutlery. I'm tired of bad service because I'm a solo diner. Why would I bring a group in if one person can't get good service? The (high) price is worth paying (plus tip) if the quality of food matches quality of service. The host apologized again on my way out for my missing cutlery. He was the nicest part of my experience.

Very happy with the waiters and wonderful food! Everyone was very happy to help with any questions or extra orders we had. This was definitely an experience!

Had a lovely evening. As someone who works in a fine dining establishment, I can spot good service. Our waitress was lovely, as well as the host and bar-man. Our waitress recited all the specials without once looking at a list- and I know how hard that can be when you have a few to remember! The meals were beautiful. I had the Chicken with Pairs mash, and my boyfriend had the Wagyu special. My meal was lovely, if not a tiny bit dry, but that is a slight criticism. I had some of my boyfriends steak and it was the nicest steak I have ever tasted, and he agreed. Profiteroles were nice, the pastry was just a bit tough, but still very enjoyable. We were looked after but given our space- my kind of service! I noticed little things also, like how our plates were swivelled so the meal was facing us directly upon being placed on the table. It was a beautiful night and worth the money. Those little details of service were not missed by us, and I really commend the staff on their professionalism and pride taken in their work. We will be back!
