The burgers are fantastic, and the fresh cut fries are to die for! Not to mention the decor is off the charts. You can tell great care goes into everything they do there from the flavour profile of the dishes to the design sense all the way from the menu to the design details on the wall.

This is my most favoured burger in Vancouver. The ingredients are exceptional. Simple old fashioned and absolutely exceptional.

Not a bad burger. But it kinda sucked getting a lecture on why they don't serve pickles because the vinegar cancels the beef taste...Total BS. They still serve mustard and ketchup and malt vinegar for fries... It is either they don't like them or they cost too much nothing wrong in that simple truth People have been eating burgers with pickles for 80 years so WTF. I would not even mind the blatant fallacy of the excuse, except that it was delivered with the conviction of a religious zealot believing theirs is the RIGHT way. Its a matter of taste. If you go bring your own pickles unless you like the dry black olive they serve it with. peace.

Great service, fantastic burger, and really authentic decor! The owners have refined their burger to a point where it is truly exquisite. Not too fatty, excellent flavors, and the fries are outrageously good. All the food is completely fresh, and you can really tell. Ask Peter or Kathy to tell you about the local history of the various fixings all over the restaurant. This is my #1 spot for burgers in Vancouver.
