Great skiing. Very limited dispersed free parking. Basically have to park in town. Expensive resort parking. Limited selection of restaurants in the village. Monopoly on most services. Rather expensive to stay even for ski resorts. But it's one of the best places to ski in CO.

What's not to love? Over 5,000 acres of ski terrain, snow conditions are excellent this year. Because it is so vast, plan where you want to ski and the routes and lifts to get you there efficiently. Otherwise, you can spend a whole morning just getting to the area you want to ski. And be prepared for some flat terrain on connecting catwalks and roads. It's part of getting around Vail.

Good skiing but the $189 adult day pass is beyond outrageous and I don't even pay for it. I am a epic pass holder and every other resort has free parking with no hassle to find whether you have to take a shuttle or something they all offer it. It's pretty ridiculous to have to pay another $25 for Parking. Lines can be long as well as it's clearly a hot spot for tourists

One of my favorite resorts, epic views, terrain and snow. Lift lines move quickly. If you don't have a pass it's going to crush your wallet, $175 for a single day lift ticket. Lodges are plentiful but very busy during lunch and also way overpriced.
