We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this zoo. Although small, this zoo allows access to animals that you just don't get at other zoos. We were able to handle a baby kangaroo/Joey, Python, and New Guinea Singing Dog. We also got to touch a Prarie Dog, Hedgehog, Frog and Python. We bottle fed a camel and goats, and hand fed Ring-tailed Lemurs. At larger zoos the animals seem so far away, but here you get close up. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and made us feel right at home. We will definitely visit again next time we're in Branson.

We had an amazing visit! Despite a rainy day, the staff did a wonderful job of personalizing our experience and allowing us some unforgettable interactions with the animals on site. They clearly care deeply for the wildlife at their location, which makes the experience all the better for visitors. During our visit, we got to interact with sloths, a kangaroo, emus, foxes, and more. If given the opportunity, we will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

The personal hands on experience at the Promised Land Zoo is hands down the best that we have ever experienced. We were able to hold a baby kangaroo, a snake and an Australian Singing Dog. We were able to pet about 8 small animals that included a bull frog, prairie dog and hedgehog. We also got to feed lemurs. Plus we got to bottle feed a camel, goats and calfs. The staff was absolutely amazing and answered any questions we had with enthusiasm and a smile. The zoo also allows you to come and go, so we were able to go eat lunch and then come back to finish the things we still wanted to do.

I've been two separate times because it was such an amazing experience. Not only because of the hands-on encounter I got to have with sloths (a childhood dream of mine), but also because the environment was so much better than traditional zoos. You are able to get up close and personal with dozens of different animals that are obviously well-cared for, which is a big deal to me. I highly recommend it for educational reasons, as well. The staff are friendly, very accommodating ( I was so impressed with how they made sure to include a visitor with physical disabilities in the animal-handling), and clearly passionate about animals and educating others about animals. It is a little on the pricey side for some of the optional encounters, but I have no doubt that that money goes towards caring for the animals, so it's worth the cost 100%. I can't praise this establishment enough and I fully intend on returning and recommending it to others.

What a fun experience! I got to hold a lemur, a joey, and a slink; bottle feed a calf; feed lemurs, baby camel, baby zebra, etc. A very unique zoo for those wanting to have a personal experience with smaller animals. Safari walk very interesting and staff SO friendly and caring to the animals. Really enjoyed the animal show! Concerned initially about the peanut butter use in the parakeet exhibit as daughter highly allergic, but there didn't seem to be any cross contamination with the other exhibits and staff said peanuts weren't fed to any other animals in park. We will definitely be going back with other family members and friends.
