Ed's Steak House is a family tradition. My father discovered it as he traveled to the small towns of western PA on business. That was through the late 1950's and all of the 1960's. As my family traveled, we have often included a stop at Ed's going or coming. My children are now carrying on the tradition with their families. I only wish they were still open for breakfast. Excellent food at very reasonable prices.

Unlike the negative reviews such as James Hollis, I have been traveling to Ed's Steak House for over 6 years. Not once have I experienced anything other than an excellent experience. The food is amazing, hostesses are attentive, and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great, and friendly place to eat. I Had shrimp scampi w/ pasta, salmon and delicious home made yam. The staff was very helpful, and I received my order in 7 minutes. I have been to a get deal of Italian restaurants in NYC AN they no longer offers hot bread. This place gives you a hot loaf of bread.

Love Ed's steakhouse. Service is always friendly and prompt and the food has had very consistent quality over our many years of patronage. They always try to accommodate any reasonable request and tolerate most of our shenanigans. Ask for the apple butter and highly recommend getting anything you can bourbon-glazed.
