The location of the course in the hills makes for some spectacular views of the ocean. The generally wide fairways meander through the hills and provide some challenging shots over desert terrain and canyons. There were also a number of sandy washes that ran through some of the fairways that looked like they were there to accommodate heavy rains. Everything was beautifully maintained.
