I love this place, it's my 2nd visit I went with another friend who's been asking to go after hearing me rave about my 1st visit to crabhut and she was not disappointed either. The fish and chips is excellent the fish actually tastes fresh out if water although it's fried. I asked that the salt in my shrimp and crawfish broil be reduced and the chef delivered.

Awesome place and awesome food. They have remodeled the place since the last time I was there. Great upgrade with the bar.

Third time eating at this Crab Hut! Outstanding every time! I'm a peaky eater especially when it comes to seafood. I always get the medium cajun snow crab legs and my husband tries something new every time. Our server was great! Greeted us as soon as we walked in and checking in on us when needed.

I've been in San Diego since February but just visited this past Saturday and I was sooooo impressed with the food, the drinks, the culture etc that we all said (a party of 3) where have you been all my life? I'm definitely going back. I had the fish and chips which tasted great even 2 days after, my friend had shrimp, crablegs and suasaage that too was wonderful. I could go on and on but let me stop here and ask you to go see/taste yourself

Parking lot is small and always full. Difficult to find parking. Food is awesome. They just opened up a new full bar. So hard liquor is now on the menu

Overall good experience at the Crab Hut. Ordered take out the first time. Food was packaged great, tasted great. Second time was dine-in. The seafood tasted fresh, great spices and cooked properly. Minus one star, higher than normal price and dirty paper towel roll left on the table. Menu choices was simplistic.

Unfortunately they serve pork and are not able to cook the seafood separately. Can’t give a fair rating since I didn’t eat there so gave them a 3 since I have to rate. They were nice about it. Went over to submarine crab and they were able to separate the pork without problem.

This place was delicious and blew my expectations out of the water. it’s nothing fancy but I feel that made it even better. I got the King crab and it was worth every penny!

Wait staff is nice, good was great... and they do NOT skimp on the liquor!!! Within walking distance of Westin in the Gaslamp District. Officially another one of our favorite spots in San Diego.
