We normally love the CUCINA chain, however, the rock shrimp pasta we ordered was not good. Two people ordered it and both didn't like it. Rock shrimp is generally tougher than other shrimp but these dishes were too tough and dry. Oxtail pasta was very good.

Had dinner there last night. Friday night before New Years. Called ahead, they were booked for hours but said they had 50 walk in tables. Only had to wait for about 5 minutes and the service was awesome. But even that doesn't compare to the food. Was able to get two main courses and two cups of wine for 60 bucks. Best food I've had in San Diego at probably the best price I've paid in San Diego
