DRGS is incredible. Jon Meyers really helped me understand every aspect of golf. I learned the fundamentals about a golf swing with clarity. Jon was extremely patient and passionate. If you are serious about improving your golf game then you definitely need to sign up for Dana Rader Golf School.

I'm pretty new to golf, having just picked it up a year ago, and haven't even bothered to keep score when I go out as it's pretty bad. I've taken a group lesson and a couple 1 on 1 sessions at a couple other locations and just hadn't found the right fit. I have now. I did the 2 day school, and while I'd have liked a little more time on putting, it was otherwise about perfect. The instant feedback, and while I've been the "the basics" before, never at the same level. The detail of the grip, stance, and general swing mechanics was great, but it was done in a way to make it seem simple. I understand more about what I should be doing now than at any other time, and I can actually feel when things break down. I've been out twice afterward, and I am making real strides when I practice as I actually understand what I've done wrong and can work to fix it. I worked with a short game guru, and the value of what I learned on pitching, chipping, sand, and uneven lies alone was worth the price. The price isn't cheap, but per hour it was no more than it was at other places. While it doesn't sound sexy, the short game stuff will likely help my game more than anything. I fully plan to practice, and head back for some more instruction. Nothing against anyone else I've worked with as I've met some great guys and girls, but I won't be taking lessons anywhere else again.

2 handicapper here. I was fitted for the full bag with Stan Roach. First, he listened to what I wanted and then worked to exactly fit me to my style of play. There was not sales pitch, no pressure to buy anything.. just honest opinions and the use of state of the art equipment to make my clubs fit my game. He even gave a couple of free golf tips on the use of certain clubs, including ball position advice that led to me striping some hybrids right down the middle.. a club that has always given me problems. The session was informative, Stan seemed to read my mind as to my needs.. which is something worth noting, since I have an unconventional "feel" type of swing. I guess his extensive knowledge gives him that "6th sense" that only comes through experience. Expectations exceeded, highly recommend.
