The only reason I'm giving them three stars is because of their vegetarian options. My friends all ordered dinners with fish or chicken that came with three sides, I on the other hand ordered the 3 choice vegetable plate. The portion sizes were very small for the vegetable plate and costs only a $1 less than the dinners my friends got which came with animal proteins and the same amount of vegetables. I wouldn't have minded the cost if the portions matched up to it. This day and time there is an increasing number of vegetarians and vegans, in order to stay competitive restaurants need to keep up and Cracker barrel needs to step up their game. The service was great and the food was tasty.

I normally don't post on these things, but I must today. I had a great breakfast experience this morning. Debbie greeted and seated me. Things got busy quickly. I ordered the Grandfather's breakfast, as I wouldn't be eating again til around 5pm. I asked for sunny side eggs. Debbie informed me that the cooks eggs are very runny and I should adjust to easy over which would yield the same result. She knew and understood the cooks working there. She then was attentive to all my needs - extra napkins, second teabag and water, stopped several times to see if I needed anything. After chatting a bit, she brought me two biscuits with applebutter and butter to go. She didn't have to. My experience was great. I believe one's experience is only as good as your server is. I will be back again.

When we arrived, we met a very friendly Hostess named Cathy. My cutlery was dirty. Our waitress seemed disinterested; almost like she was in a hurry to turn over the table. She was not very attentive at all. The food was good for the most part. It tasted like typical Cracker Barrel food, although I don't remember their biscuits being that small. We would likely return to this location due to our satisfaction with the Cracker Barrel brand, we may just ask for a different Server.
