This has been and always will be one of my favorite go-to's in Denver. Great family day activity or a great spot to show off to out-of-town friends. Always new exhibits and the oldies are always good too! You can get lost in here for hours and never be bored!

Go to Science Lounge! It's a 21+ event every few Thursday nights. We had a great time and saw some really interesting exhibits, including archive material they don't show to the public. The lecture was a bit simple but still interesting and all around great experience.

Incredible museum! When my husband and I go on vacations we always need to check out their natural museums and hot damn this one is beautiful!! The volunteers are knowledgeable, employees are helpful and even when the parking lot is totally full the museum itself doesn't feel super crowded! The special mummies exhibit was superb and I can't recommend this museum enough if you're local or visiting!!

Wonderful and huge museum. I've been twice now and visited the special exhibitions both times (The Silk Road and Mummies) which were excellent. There is something at this museum for everyone, from natural and cultural exhibits to a simulated martian mission to incredible gems and minerals. Very nice cafe with a good selection, as well.
