The perfect family park. It is small but packs a lot of variety and opportunity for different experiences. Overall, it's scenic and woodsy, but paths are mostly paved so you can bring a stroller. There is one small unpaved path for "off-roading". Lots of shade in the summer, and no playground if you're more interested in walking than pushing children on a swing. My favorite areas are the butterfly garden, bamboo patch, and turtle pond. Lots of signage and small educational activities for family learning, and there are usually exhibits in the barn. The pumpkin walk at Halloween is a great time, and I even love their little gift shop.

a really neat little gem! Black Walnut Festival is great in the fall!
