Definitely worth a visit. Bring your camera! I would not recommend buying any meat if you are even slightly scared of bacteria but the fish and vegetable areas are perfect for some grocery shopping. The market feels like a mix of La Boqueria in Barcelona (minus all the tourists) and a street market in Cairo (minus all the hasslers)
