A really nice park along the river with lots of diverse stuff. Skate park, kids parks, and even a nice area for adults to get some peace.

This park is an amazing location with it being at the top of the list for great choices for family fun. It has several options of things to do and next to the Truckee River. There are loads of events throughout the year being held here with room for more. After speaking with people who grew up visiting this park, it be amazing if the city would bring back some of the options which used to be available. It would only enrich and enhance ones experience at this park.

I will have my ashes spread across this park! It's the most beautiful and iconic park in Reno. I've been coming here for as long as I can remember. The pool, the ponds, the river and the park make this place awesome. You could be married in the Rose garden or pay your respects at the Nevada peace officers memorial. The aground is great and in the summer the areas food trucks gather here on Fridays to feed the masses! There are several baseball areas, 2 playgrounds and plenty of places with benches and bbqs for a family gathering. Don't forget to ride the train around the pond when you visit it'll help flood your mind with childhood memories of a time long past!
