Nice zoo. Was there for an hour or two last year. The gorilla exhibit was tight. They had a silverback thrash out on some kid for a few minutes until they shot him.

Harambe was my mom. And you killed him! I can't believe this outrageousness! How dare you kill my mommy? He was beautiful.

I liked it. It's a well organized and well kept zoo, lots of exhibits, unfortunately I went in the winter (I was told this was better, no crowds and the price is not as steep) and a lot of exhibits were empty since it was too cold, others where being renovated. No working water fountains, the gift shop is rather pricey (good selection tho), I'm not too surprised with this, food also was over priced (only one venue was open) though I did get a decent portion and it was tasty and well presented. The indoor exhibits were great, very educational. Wish I could have seen the elephants and giraffes but oh well, another time. All in all a nice place to go to either alone or w/the family if you go say in the fall when there is more animal activity. Would come back, but on a warmer day...
