Broad range of pieces, including local and world-wide. Special exhibits are well-presented and a good value. Beautiful building. Wonderful treasure in Cincinnati. Oh, and thanks to donors and supporters it's free admission (and parking, if you drive).

Always rotating exhibitons, plus a stellar encyclopedic collection. They have over 65,000 pieces spanning 6,000 years. The Rosenthal Education Center (REC) is new as of 2015 and great for kids crafts and fun for the whole family. Be sure to check out their calendar, they have events ALL the time!

Lots of great art to see. There were people offering hands on exhibits throughout. Admission to the general museum is free and well worth going if you're in the area.

Their main exhibits are acceptable. What makes this museum fantastic are 2 things. 1. It's free. The Cincinnati Art Museum works hard to make art available to all who walk through their doors. The staff is friendly and helpful no matter your socioeconomic class. 2. Their traveling exhibits are fantastic. While they have may days that you can pay to see them they always have time slots where it's free. Once again, making sure that art is available and reachable to any who are interested. The exhibits themselves are tasteful and informative. They reach out to other sources and have truly wonderful pieces come through. I've never had a problem taking my young child with me.
