OH MY GOODNESS. BEST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE IN ZETLAND. I have worked in hospitality for over five years and I can honestly say that I have not had food, customer service, nor atmosphere that comes even close to comparing to this place (here in Sydney) when it comes to casual dining. The king fish poké was divine. The staff were incredible. Highly, highly recommend.

I came here for the first time today and ordered a salmon with a sweet potato fries as side. I’m not even a fan of seafood but this dish was ridiculously good: juicy, buttery and melting in my mouth. The skin was crispy and the sweet potatoes fries were great. The service as well was so friendly and professional. The tall Canadian dude took the time to explain the origin of the salmon (if I got it right, it’s a rare species that comes from a specific place in New Zealand). There was a funny American girl as well and she made the experience very pleasant. The cosy ambience made me feel in a shack somewhere in a mountainous region. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a casual meal with friends!

We love Salmon and Bear (Zetland) and have been going there since it opened. However, last night we ordered 2 "grizzly plates" with extra sides (takeaway, as soon as the kiddies went to bed) and realized they did not pack my sweet potato fries! Not a huge deal, but I was very disappointed as I love their sweet potato fries!

A truly amazing dinner. Fish was cooked to perfection. We ordered a second main course as it was that good. The owner took the time to chat with us and was interested in our comments. Please, set up in Perth. We need a Salmon and Bear too.
