Ate there on the night of Hurricane Bertha. Horrendous weather and drive there, but welcome wonderful and warming. Food was excellent. Black pudding delicious and local rib eye steak amazing. Best my Mum said she had ever had. We had a lovely evening and then my car - obviously a victim of the flooding let me down. Maggie couldn't have been more helpful she phoned several local taxi companies none of whom could help. By this point I was getting a bit anxious as my 84 year old mother needed to get home not be stranded in a monsoon. At which point another member of staff offered to drive us the 8 or so miles home and did it with wonderful good humour and grace. Our evening far from being marred was enhanced. If you are in the vicinity or local give the Fox and Hounds business they deserve it for quality of food, service and kindness.
