This museum is great. There are usually fascinating exhibits and the classic halls and dinosaurs are always entertaining. The beautiful gardens within and around the museum are perfect. It’s very easy to get to by metro, there’s loads of places in the area to add onto your visit.

Love this museum. A while back, my son's cub scout pack, along with other groups, had a night at the museum. We toured the museum exhibits after hours and staff prepared activities for the kids. They also served a light breakfast the next morning. It was a great experience for both kids and parents to be able to privately tour the exhibits & sleep under or by the exhibits.

We have been members since 2015 or so. My daughter who is 6 loves it. We go right when they open and by 12 before the masses we are out. Our favorite part is where they have the reptiles and coloring stations. We swing to the science center if we have time. For those who like to take pictures the rose garden and the area exiting the main gift shop are also very nice to take portraits.
