O 1/16, took my 14 year-old granddaughter. She had never seen a whale or a dolphin. Was sorry we saw so few dolphin, but that was made up for by how up close and personal we got to those we saw. The new boat (catamaran) is much more fun than the others. The whole trip became awesome for her as we were approaching the bell buoy and there was a grey whale. We were able to follow it for a about twenty minutes and she was in awe. I have been using Davey's for five years for these trips, bait and rental boats. They have never disappointed. The people and the product are always first rate.

I have been out with these wonderful people going on my 8th time & they are some of the most professional & caring guides you could ask for. They do everything they can to ensure each guest has a great experience right from the start to the time you come back in. Last week on a trip out we saw over 1,000 dolphins at once. It was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. I walk with a cane & they have helped keep me safe & have been helpful if I have ever needed anything. I just want to thank you all for each experience and for caring so much about not only your guests but about the wildlife we see. If you are visiting southern California, this is a MUST. I've included a few shots I took of the dolphins last trip.

This was a fun family friendly 2 ish hour cruise we took with our children (4 & 7 years old) during their Holiday Break from school. The staff was polite and knowledgeable, the cruise was fun and we saw a pod of hundreds of dolphins. It was worth the price and we would do it again. Lots of fun stuff to do and see near by for families as well, so you can easily make a day of it and enjoy the activities/attractions within walking distance. A few tips would be -wear layers because obviously it can get chilly on the boat -pack sun screen since you are on the boat for a couple hours -arrive at least 30 minutes early like they suggest on their website if you want 1st dibs on the best seats by being one of the 1st groups/people in line
