Ordered some food and drinks. The food was ready quickly and very tasty. However, it took them 40 minutes to make us an italian soda and tell us they were out of the other drink we requested (apple cider).

The first thing I noticed was how dirty this place is inside. Cobwebs on the windows, light fixtures and ceiling... food on the floors. They had one slice of fruit pie left that was missing half of its top crust, exposing the shriveled remains of a fruit filling that looked like it was a week old. I ordered a pre made breakfast burrito, and asked for it to be heated up. Had the cook not been standing in the kitchen chit chatting away, it might not have taken 10 minutes to get it. But alas, I wasn't about to complain to the person who took my order. I didn't get the impression she would have cared much. The good news is that the Ballard Farmers Market is a few blocks away.

Funky seaside decor and mismatched tea-time ambiance serve as quirky backdrop that could steer some away from this place. However, once you sink you teeth into their delicious, perfectly portioned breakfast sandwiches, the questionable interior design decisions fade away. Top notch eats with good coffee too!

What a lovely place! I stopped in with my 11 month old earlier today and had a smoothie and a 'grab and go' caprese pasta salad. Both were delicious! The service was absolutely wonderful. I loved the coastal atmosphere, and I really appreciated the friendly greeting and warm smile both as I walked in and as I was leaving. Definitely looking forward to returning!

This is my second visit in as many days and both times I have been greeted with a smile and quick service. The Man behind the counter remembered me and asked after my father, the cookie was even better than yesterday and their famous Maple bacon biscuits live up to the moniker. I got an espresso yesterday and it was very tasty, if a little light and floral. The drip I have today is decent. Outside seats could use a couple tall plants to act as a wind break and delineate the space but the chairs are comfy enough. Pleased to have found this place.
