I loved the history of this place. Really educational and personal all in one. The period of the old west. I really recommend this place if you can fit it into your visit. You will find it quit entertaining.

We had a great time at Old Cowtown Museum! We went there for a company Christmas Party and we were very impressed with everything. They had horse drawn buggy rides, reindeer, blacksmith demonstrations, s'mores, saloon girl show, Christmas carols and so much more! It was such a fun night for our whole family!

2nd review for current situation: Management and the gift shop here has some major issues. They run their good staff away and new potential help. They also seem to flag my photos that I post, so it seems like they have their own agenda and not want to be fair and impartial to/with the community and the nice people who have supported the Old Cowtown Museum over the years. 1st review years ago: Everyone is so friendly and helpful! You can talk to them for hours. They enjoy that as much as we did. Took some great photos there too. Very interactive. If you have kids then ask someone for kid's activities if they don't ask you first! Very entertaining. A must see if you are in Wichita, Kansas!
