Venue and food is amazing. 5 star! We can only rate 2 stars for our overall experience. Sadly the inconsistent service let them down. It took us a while to be greeted as no one was 'present'. We had at least five staff pass us and not one stopped to welcome us or to inform us what we were to do as we huddled by the door waiting for attention. First impression? They didn't want us to be there! We watched as people and groups walked out after waiting for five minutes. Everything just felt too hard, and even after an amazing dinner our group still left feeling the poor service ruined our overall experience. Such a shame as the venue and food is wonderful. That said, there are many other options close by that have a good vibe, quality cusine, and will also make you feel welcome.

The food was great, excellent steaks! Compliments to the chef. However, the staff were impolite and what's worse, the waitress we had, an American girl, totally dominated our table with her incessant input and chatter, every time she came to the table. It felt like we had another dinner guest rather than quiet, unintrusive service. It was really annoying and we won't be back for a long time because of it. Particularly as it is a rather pricey venue.
