100% tourist trap. Over priced with terrible food, service and atmosphere. Avoid!

Today my girlfriend and l were looking forward to eating a awesome breakfast, we saw Portobello Cafe and were impressed with its location. We sat down at a really nice table next to the water which we moved from as it was freezing because of the wind, they had heaters which was a good idea! After this, the experience went down hill, very fast. We ordered our food. Although the prices were high we copped it on the chin and expected two great coffee $5.5 each.. and two great "Crunchy Bannana Milkshake" $9.5 each.. we ordered. My girlfriends coffee firstly started off with a hair in it, when I went to ask for them to take it back I was met from a rude staff member who didn't offer anything to us and just walked off with out apologising. My coffee was trash as well, for what I paid I was laughing at how bad it was. To top it all off we got the $22 piece of bread with two eggs and some leafs on it. Couldn't believe my eyes, I'm sorry for not having a photo of it, the bread was soggy, eggs were okay but all up, we got RIPPED. 2/5 would not recommend, 3 of the waiters we spoke to were clueless and rude. Thank you.

Had Breakfast here and loved it! Coffee was fantastic and the food was great! Service was okay amd the location was beautiful
