stay away from this restaurant. i ordered a paneer tikka (take away).. when i took the first bite at my desk i realized it was 2-3 days old stuff. another day i tried aloo tikki on a saturday.. same thing old stuff. Whatever is unsold on a day, they keep it in the fridge and reheat the same thing the next day and sell it. Especially the non-veg curries..so unhealthy.

I have been to Amaya at FCP and the food is very good there. But the food in this location is extremely bad. I ordered a simple kadhi with rice and it was the worst kadhi i have tasted yet. Very salty and watery. I am surprised how Amaya ia allowing this franchise to run. Please help yourself and never come here

I had the worst possible experience at this place. I ordered a veg curry with rice. The curry had no flavor at all. After having one bite i approached the staff and asked if i could have something else from the menu or get my money back since i only took one bite and it had no taste. They told me they cant do anything and that i should go buy something. Folks please help yourself and dont go to this place.

The butter chicken and mango lassi that my 11 year old daughter had were good. My 1 star rating is based on the fact that the cashier tried to rip off my daughter when she paid. My daughter gave the cashier $10 for a lassi that came to $3.75 with tax, and only got back $1.25. When I went back and told the cashier that he grossly overcharged an 11 year old, he wordlessly opened the register and handed me a $5 bill.

***HORRIBLE*** Bland overpriced food. You can find buffets for similar prices for one curry and rice here. Stay away as there are better options.

Terrible service. The workers ignored me while they served another customer. Cashier bailed on said customer to answer a phone call. When i came to pay for my food, I had a drink in my hand (that was bought elsewhere) he accused me of getting it from their fridge, I told him thats my own drink. Anyways, it's pretty crappy here. It's better Indian restaurants in the area anyway.

Worst staff ever i have seen in a restaurant industry..Being an Indian I have to say this and it feels bad...We are known for our hospitality around the world, but I avoid to go there just because of the staff.. The food is really good, but the way it is served, makes u feel that u made a mistake entering the restaurant..its clearly in their face (staff members) that u have disturbed their personal time where they can sit back and enjoy movie or god knows what in their phone..I have never seen any staff standing atthe store front..They all are busy woth their phones.. Sorry but if any concern person is reading this, please teach your staff how to behave and greet customers..!!

AVOID! AWFUL! Stay hungry, but never go to this place :) When I googled this place to see ratings, it showed 4+ stars. Later I realized my phone's location was still set to my home town where there is another Amaya Restaurant (Plainfield, NJ). I got a PIECE OF PLASTIC BAG in veggie manchurian. This is not about quality or quantity, but basic hygiene. They should be CLOSED DOWN by the food regulators.

Not worth the price.. very very expensive compare to other Indian Restaurants in the area based on their very small portion size. in-store prices are more expensive than the website prices. for the price of their thali you can have a full buffet just across the street with in 2 minute walk. been there few times, but then I regret going there when I look at the portion size and the amount I paid. just walk to King and John st have a full buffet which is much cheaper way better quality and taste than this place!!!!

poor customer service, less in quantity compare to the prices & I had vegetables last time and it was smelly. I couldn't eat properly. They should improve the customer service part.
