Average food. Long wait time. Doors at either end create a wind tunnel that makes it uncomfortably cold regardless of where you sit. Didn't listen to order. Probably deserved the number one listing before it got overrun with demanding tourists. Go to Halo instead. I'm sure once it's less busy it will return to serving an awesome experience!

Vudu is always a staple for me in Queenstown. Great coffee and the food on both the menu and in the cabinet is brilliant. A little expensive but you get quality. Only bad thing is how busy it is! Locals like as well as many travellers so finding a seat can sometimes be tricky. Staff are always very efficient and will help you get a spot if they can.

Great coffee. Amazing looking food...can't comment on the tastes as I didn't eat! Super busy, but not much of a wait for coffee. Staff could be a bit friendlier..

Have visited this cafe a few years ago and it's still one of the busiest due to it's ideal location in Queenstown and it was highly enjoyable.Having just come back from our Easter week, we were quickly turned off by the huge crowd waiting inside. A simple grab a coffee was no way going to happen this time of year. However, my experience this time was not quite so enjoyable. I understand it was busy and people are trying to look in the glass slice/cake counter which is located right in front however, the young staff were quite rude when trying to walk past to deliver the coffee/meals to other diners. Quite a few times whilst trying to select something I & another customer were met with a rude " Excuse Me !!" and a roll of the eyes more than once. Staff, you are dealing with adults/tourists here so please be a little more polite. The staff need to realise that the queue and influx of people hovering around the main area is necessary especially given the cash register is also there not to mention the door to the restrooms. The design of the cafe is simply not ideal and a major problem for both staff and customers, however coffee and food really good and worth the wait if you have time and patience. Worth walking around and finding other cafes not quite so busy in peak season as there are plenty more to find.

Coffee good. That’s where it ends. Eggs raw, sausage not cooked. Our worst breakfast. And for $80 for 3 people. Best part was throwing it up. I don’t leave reviews, this is my first ever. But it really needs to be said - just how bad this is

Better when it isn't crowded with patrons. Bizarre but tasty food choices from their cabinet. Good coffee, but a little more pricey than nearby spots. Nice ambiance. Staff seems on point at busy hours and checked out at slow hours. No wifi

Lovely experience. Beautiful location, infront of the water, food was delicious. Myself and my wife got the egg Benedict with salmon, we loved it. The staff were also extremely friendly. Terrific place for breakfast or lunch. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great cafe venue and food quality it seemed high but service was the letdown. The baristas were poorly organized and the table staff were taking orders for people who didn't even have tables yet. Don't bother going in there unless you have a couple of hours up your sleeve! :( all I wanted was a good coffee, I had to throw it out in the end, it wasn't what I had ordered and no apology for the 30 minute wait for 1 takeaway coffee. Recommendation to managers/owners: get someone extremely organized and fast on the coffee machine and in charge of orders, and maybe provide more gf savory options for takeaway rather than cakes.

Whilst the food quality was excellent the massive wait times and unintuitive ordering system resulting in a lack luster, confusing and over all disappointing experience. Credit must be given for the fact that they acknowledged they were under the pump and unable to cope with the amount of customers with free coffee vouchers. However this does not make up for mixed up orders and the poorly managed ordering system.

Really tasty buckwheat pancakes and good service despite the massive but fast moving queue. Unfortunately they include

Lovely, bright and friendly. Absolutely delicious breakfasts. Eggs benedict was amazing (bacon and vegetarian were both fab!) Buckwheat pancakes also delicious. Wonderful coffee and super friendly and attentive staff. Our favourite Queenstown brekky cafe

Loved the food here! We had the buckwheat pancakes and vegetarian eggs Benedict and they were delicious. We got a salmon sandwich for take away lunch and also enjoyed it. Service is fast and the staff were welcoming and eager to help. It is busy but well worth it.
