Amazing lunch at Sails yesterday. Totally recommend the Hawkes Bay Lamb. Also the sides of Broccolini and the delicious garlic roasted mushrooms with feta. Petit Fours for desert give you a chance to sample all Sails deserts. Also excellent service. Have been before and will come back again.
Usually, you see a restaurant in a harbor and you prepare yourself for a mediocre meal with a great view. This is one of the rare gems that is delicious yet unpretentious, perfectly varied to meet your preferred tastes, and all around an excellent experience. It’s high-end food so expect high-end prices (though fairly reasonable), but definitely give this a try. Note: the picture I posted doesn’t do any justice to the view.
Awesome place to take high end clients to lunch or dinner. The food is always top quality, service excellent, love the wine menu and staff suggestions for matching the food. The best part about Sails Restaurant is the free parking and they have sped up the lunch service so you can have and enjoyable lunch which does not drag out. The view over the marina is excellent to! 5 stars! Love Sails Restaurant!
The environment is amazing, we came here as a large group and we had the function menu to select from. The food was nice and fulfilling and the service was great!

Everyone from the gentleman yesterday afternoon who introduced me to the Chef, who then arranged for Brendan to work with me to surprise my fiance, to the wonderful waiting staff, were superb!
The ambiance, food, wine, service and the lovely congratulations dessert plate was truly appreciated and the way you all made our night so special will never be forgotten.

Lovely atmosphere and ambience. We were a group of 9 and most people enjoyed their meals, there was one of us who didn't enjoy the 'Beef Auckland' but the rest of the food was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. Views were amazing of the Auckland Harbour bridge. Would definitely come back.
The food was excellent but the bar and drinks service was non existent. No advice on the choice of wine and when we did order a bottle he failed to appear to pour it. His attitude was also rather surly. For such a top rated establishment, I found this disappointing.
The Food and food service was excellent.
Would highly recommend.
