The food was good and had great portions. We got fish tacos and loaded pork nachos and could finish them. The drinks were fine, but nothing to write home about. We actually had a great bartender and awesome service. The biggest downside was that we wanted to sit outside and enjoy the view, but they didn't clean off the dirty tables the whole time we were there, so we settled for the bar.

I like that this place is located on the beach. Other than that, it's not a place you should order a whiskey cocktail at because I did and it was bad. We came on a Friday night and the music was outdated. Think 112, Snoop, Blackstreet... Maybe it was a throwback night? People were dancing and having a good time. Just not my cup of tea.

Last day in Hawaii and I thought I would enjoy a nice lunch at the RumFire. Bad decision. The view was beautiful, but the service was awful. Can't say much about the food because we left before our order was taken. 30 minutes of waiting for a table to be cleared is unacceptable. The poor attitude of the service staff was not acceptable as well. Disappointing end to a wonderful trip.

The view, the view, the view! The food quality was inconsistent. When we were there first time we loved the Vietnamese sandwich with Thai Curry so much and came back for it, however, our it disappointed us the 2nd and 3rd time, too salty. Now my favorite is the Shrimp bao, the seasoning is just right. When we sit indoor area the service is fast but when we sat outside the service is extremely slow. I saw people left because they waited too long and no server came and it's not dinner rush hour. We waited quite some time to see the waiter and then we could pay our meal. I guess it could be sometimes good if hope for some privacy and alone time, not bothered much by the waiters... but when you want to order more food or want to leave and cannot find your waiter it's frustrating.
