What a treasure. I grew up going to this zoo, and now that I live on the east coast, I miss it greatly. The new exhibits are huge compared to the competition. The animals seem to be treated very well. They have wide sidewalks and scooters for the disabled. My mom doesn't get around all that well anymore, and she love driving her little scooter around the zoo.

We enjoy the layout and variety of animals. It's definitely worth having a membership. The classes offered for the young children are great as well.

My granddaughter and I go every couple weeks. It NEVER gets old to her (4 yrs), and we usually always have at least 1 very unique and special experience each time we go. We've had some wonderful, informative talks with the keepers as well. We LOVE our Zoo!!
