Tried The Windmill Inn today in preparation for a lunch group I belong too. I had Mac and Cheese very tasty but the Beef and ale pie was very nice but could have been a bit hotter. Busy time seems to be around 1pm. Excellent menu and choice Senior menu good. Will visit again.

Nice surroundings in side of pub but food could be much better. Staff are present but not enough staff to cope with daily business.

I booked a table for 20 people last sat 4 nov i cant say how angry and upset about our mealsi am it should have been a special birthday present 40th for hubby 1 starter came and had to be reheated still came back cold 1 was burnt 1 didnt come at all 2 burnt lasagne the steaks were mixed up and cold 1 was returned as cold n sauce congealed i was told been knocked off bill but id been charged for it be warned no proper chef just a microwave techniction the steaks say seved with fluffy potatoe and it was smash there was no apology given what soever shocking wont go there again dawn gill n emma

This looks better since the refurbishment and the food was nice. There are some good offers and the food is about right for what you pay for.
