I took my mother in law, grandma, and mom here for one of our activities for this past weekend while we were Breckenridge for my wedding. As a dog lover, this was hands down one of the coolest things I've ever seen. We did the cart tour which starts with a tour of the kennels and then ends with a golf cart sled ride pulled by the dogs. The kennel portion was the best since we learned about the dogs and got interact with them. Some of the dogs were super sweet! We then did the cart ride and got to see the dogs do what they do best. It was a little rough, but my 82 year old grandma did it without having any issues. Our guide, Ace, demonstrated a deep love of all the dogs there and was very personable. I would absolutely recommend a tour for anyone visiting the area!

We visited in early fall, don't the kennel tour followed by the dog cart ride. It was interesting meeting most of the 160 dogs on site, from the females segregated for breeding (only a litter or 2 each, then they're fixed and moved to the sled teams so no one spends their life pregnant), the old time "sheriffs" who get to run around free most of the day, the adolescent pups (we heard how they're trained), to the many active sled dogs. The tour was great for our dog loving family. The dogs are excited to see people and are competing for ear rubs so they bark and jump at the end of their chains if they can't quite reach you. Some will put their paws up on you. So not a great tour for little kids or those afraid of dogs. Maybe ask how old the puppies are and do a puppy only meet and greet. If you for the kennels , bring a complete change of outer layer clothes, including shoes and socks, and garbage bags for your dirty clothes. And make sure everything loose is zipped in a pocket. One girl delightedly ran off with my glove, which she had stolen from my coat pocket (we got it back). It was worth it to see the joy she took in her prank. The dog cart ride was nice, not fabulous. We road in a giant, 8 person golf cart, so the guide steered and engaged the engine to help them a bit. It was fun to watch the dogs, but didn't feel different than an open air drive through the trees. We're going to return in the winter for a traditional dog sled ride, which sounds like a blast. Getting there: Google maps thought the address was a few miles earlier on the road than it was. Data service cuts out. So look up the directions on their website before you leave town.

Our family went to Snow Caps Sled Dogs in June and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Breck. The people that work there are amazingly talented and hard-working. They know each of the husky's by name and we had a great tour, learning about the dogs. We could have spent the entire day there! Thank you Snow Caps Sled Dogs!

Fantastic experience. Took the whole family. 2 girls ages 10 and 15. Plus myself and wife. Led by Blake, we got to meet at least 50-75 beautiful Siberian Huskies. This was an experience we will never forget. Incredibly friendly animals that give you all the love and affection you can handle. After touring the facility, Black tied up 10 dogs who gave us an outstanding 2 mile run. Since it was summer, Blake aided them with a golf cart with wheels. Blake and staff truly love these animals and it shows. This is a highly recommended experience. Whatever you do, dont miss it!!!! Ask for Blake, hes a terrific guide!!
