Absolutely terrible experience here last night. One of the gentlemen cooking the food realized that I am unable to speak perfect german; he then made a completely disparaging and disrespectful comment to my partner thinking I would not understand what he said. Spoke to the manager about this and he seemed unconcerned. Service was insanely slow and food was also below average. Would not recommend

Big Vapiano, two stories and you have to order your food upstairs. The staff is quick and nice. Unfortunately the mobile ordering devices were broken. Would have loved to try that. The location is perfect on the Alexander Platz.

Stupid concept, you have to queue up for each meal separately and wait as each meal is cooked. There are separate queues for each meal. Incredibly inefficient, it basically means that you have to stand in a line for an hour during peak times just to order one dish, and then you have to stand their and wait as they make it. It is worse if you are ordering for others too. Do you want to stand around waiting in a queue for an hour when you are hungry? If not, don’t go here.

Atrociously slow kitchen. I waited 20 minutes in an almost empty restaurant with no food. It looked like they were cooking one pizza at a time in their ovens. Incomprehensible. I walked out.

Just been. To be avoided if you are with two starving kids! No service table, you have to line up and order your food. 30 minutes at least... pasta was alright, patio in la square nice. Good for singles in their twenties.

Ordered online, food was prepared on time but when we came home we realized the extras we ordered weren't there and dessert was different. So we basically paid extra for regular food.

Very nice food at the center. You can whatever you like and pay when you exit. No need to pay at different counters. Big area with many seats.

I liked how this place worked. It's like a a really posh school dinner. You take your tray to the counter and order your food, it's prepared in front of you. A great system if you don't mind standing in a queue. Worth it for the amazing food!

The touch screen didn't work. So we had to ask for the meal at the counter where an unfriendly waiter was too busy to get our order nor he didn't wish to help us with the procedure. On the positive side, the salads were fresh and edible.

Okay here but one of the staff members was a little rude. I also came in late one night to get something to takeaway. They were not closing for an hour and the lady said in a rather patronising way as I didn't speak German, we are not taking anymore orders. I ordered hot chocolate two out of the three times I visited and both were very cold. The pizza and pasta is nice though and they do gluten free options which is great as I am gluten intolerant.

Always trust the reviews... no idea why we came here despite the poor reviews. Needless to say we experienced the same terrible service as everyone else: Waited almost one hour in the queue for a pasta that was completely tasteless. ‘Chef’ had no idea what he was doing, burnt the first portion, undercooked the second.. Gave up on the drinks after hearing those in front complain that they weren’t being served and had been waiting forever. stay away from this one.

I had pasta with a friend in this restaurant 2 following days. The first day, the pasta was very well prepared and we were very satisfied. The second day, we ordered the same pasta, but the result was totally different. 3 ingredients were missing in one pasta plate, the other was not well prepared at all, the Rucola salad was cooked with the sauce, when it is supposed to be on the pasta at the end. It was all dried. I complained to an employee who called the manager. The manager tried to justify it was well prepared when it was really not. He finally admitted it was not well prepared and asked another cook to prepare again. We waited 10 minutes and the new cook gave us the plates, which were really good this time. No sorry from the manager or anyone. The manager did not offer any drink or anything, he did not come after to check if he were happy. We also noticed that the first cook who did not prepare well, was immediately put out of the kitchen after we complained. Advice to the manager: thank you for coming quickly, and having asked another cook to prepare for us. The second time it was well prepared. But 2 things for the manager to improve: do not try to discuss in the future the fact that it is well prepared when it is not. We just all lose time and it is really unpleasant (unpolite?) for the customer to put his word in doubt. Secondly, just a little sorry would have been good, that you come after to check if we were happy would have been great. This is also a question of being polite. It gives the impression that you do not care, when actually I think you cared because the cook was removed from the kitchen immediately. So on one way, you doubt my words, on the other way you remove the concerned cook immediately from the kitchen... I would have sent you an email, but actually after this experience I do not wish to come back to your restaurant. For me a lack of politeness is a No-go

I come inside, no one bats an eye, found nothing good, try to leave and some lady starts yelling at me that I am hiding some dumb card that she allegedly gives to every potential customer. Really? How was I supposed to know that I need to ask for a card when entering? Very rude.

Super long queues ! Reason being bad management by staff, especially chef. Food is nothing special. Just average. I have been here couple of times and they have not improved at all. Staff is also rude and can see that they are used to all complaints by their guest...they really dont care. Please guys, DO NOT WASTE TIME AND MONEY HERE.

Close to 5 stars. Vapiano is almost a classic in Berlin. Located several places and is serving you great food! Good value for money!

AVOID!! I would rate zero stars if I could. I was shouted at for ordering gluten free pasta and the chef asked if I was even a Celiac (I am..) and I am not sure he would have even started to ensure there was no cross-contamination if I was not a Celiac. Oh and he got my order wrong, twice. Complained to front staff who openly ignored me speaking to them and laughed as I walked away. Worst restaurant experience I have ever had! 0/10
